It's always funny to me when in an lu fic the chain is offered bananas and don't accept them. Like, you're offering these high energy adventures free food?? Fruit they'll have never even heard of before??? A ridiculously expensive imported good at best?? AND it boosts your attack?

Not ONE of these idiots would ever turn down something new and interesting to eat at least once. They'd be all over those bananas and immediately get dubbed yiga and I'm honestly surprised no one has used it in a fic yet 🤭

Vlad’s successor

When the Fentons first tried to activate their portal, it failed drastically.

It explodes, completely destroying their house and killing the entire family except for Danny, who is left badly injured. He’s hospitalized, and starts to show strange symptoms on top of his other injuries. The doctors have no idea what’s happening to him.

But when the boy’s godfather Vlad is called in, he recognizes those symptoms quite well.

Danny’s just like he was.

Sure, it’s not exactly the same—Danny’s changes are progressing faster than his own—but he knows Danny will turn into a half-ghost.

He can hardly turn a chance like this down. Helping the only living child of the love of his life and getting a successor who can follow in his footsteps?

It may not make up for the loss of Maddie, but it’s a hell of a jackpot nonetheless.

(Or alternatively Jazz could survive too and also be on the path to becoming a half-ghost)

Do I take the risk of ordering groceries delivered after what happened last time, keeping in mind that I paid a not insignificant amount of money for a membership to this grocery store specifically for the benefit of having groceries delivered, or do I put on pants and shoes and pull my hair up and find a jacket and get out my cart and drag myself all the way over to the grocery store, where I will be tired and hungry and probably buy a ton of random crap I don't need just because it's there

#i suppose if they cancel my order randomly again i can always go to the grocery store myself tomorrow #i will not be renewing my membership <3 #and i will never ever be using instacart they cant do ANYTHING #when instacart first entered my awareness they kept running this ad on my pandora stations #where they were talking about how they could handle all sorts of diets #vegan lactose free gluten free you name it! instacart has you covered!#spoiler alert instacart does not have you covered #because shortly after this started i ordered from this grocery store for the first time and it went through instacart #and i had some almond milk on the order #which like #hmmmmmm #lets think about possible reasons why i maybe put ALMOND milk on the order #and the shopper swapped it out for whole milk without even notifying me #not oat milk or soy milk or lactose free milk #whole milk #well that hasnt happened since so my suspicion is that that was just a personal problem with that guy #possibly one of those people who gives people who ordered diet coke regular coke at restaurants #because i KNOW the store wasnt out of almond milk #but well trust destroyed #if i had an actual allergy i would never allow instacart anywhere near my groceries again #lactose intolerance is really more of an inconvenience for me #anyway #its really windy out so i think i will order groceries #speaking of milk i should go see if mine is still good

Just had such an intensely annoying experience i instantly lost all further motivation to do shit today

#trying to do laundry in my new building for the first time #put the load in try paying with my credit card where it says Insert Card Here #keep getting ERROR back #try with different cards #no luck #machine used to have coin slots but they have been removed so no way to put cash into it #finally spot ‘refill your card!’ box on the wall of laundry room #this machine only takes cash. says it takes $5 $10 $20s #luckily I have cash in my pocket. try to put $5 in #machine spits it out. WRONG BILL. INSERT $10 #ok so there’s a minimum i need to pay #leaving my laundry in the washer run upstairs to get more cash. I have some 20s and some 5s and some 1s #ok trying a twenty! machine spits it out. WRONG BILL INSERT $10 #machine literally only accepts 10s #try asking a guy in the lobby for change he’s got $3 total #have to leave my laundry leave the building run to the (get this) laundromat next door #ask for change for a 20. am eyed with suspicion #laundromat next door has exactly one 10 dollar bill in the place #am able to go back and buy a card (this cost $5) and put money on it and pay for the washing machine #this building is run by sick freaks

yknow what minor transient detail abt s4 is fun to me? prior to john's reveal, noel apparently assumes the KIY to be a totally unfamiliar character to them both. he pauses his story to give background info on him ("he rules the dreamlands, he's a master manipulator, etc") in a way he doesn't with other stuff. he points out yellow like "that's the bitch btw. if you were curious." which is. like he knows they were in the dreamlands. i think he knows or at least assumes they were in the pits for a while given they ran into lorick. what does he think they were doing there. just. passing through??

Mini timeline explanation for the Purified Au regarding s2p2, mainly the second half of it.

It's pretty much been revealed in the most recent comic that I posted that Oliver is sort of MIA for the later half of the tournament. He goes missing one night and the ninja just assume that he left to go find Nya and Riyu and help them find Jay since Oliver's always been really close to him and has missed him a lot. So the ninja don't stress too much about that since they have other things to worry about and also they know that Oliver can handle himself so he should be fine.

Oliver doesn't show up again until the final battle at the end of the season after Nokt gets all the elemental powers. I won't go into specific details over what happens, just know that he does show up for the fight :)

its 12am for me and i have many thoughts about this au where i just traumatise two older sibling sonic characters (and make metal a transgirl dating amy)

#tails and sonics thing takes place before metal is released #so like pretty early on though sonic does have some fame in the public eye #kinda does go down the drain when eggman dies and sonic never audibly says it was tails so he just kinda hides out #such an event would make it really easy for another robotnik to take control without a hero going around to stop her #i feel like maria in this universe would do research on other universes and find the usual one where she dies and shadow lives #where she finds out that eggman living and sonic being around made shadow be released from the cryofreezer the day before maria did #because she put herself in the day after she put shadow in there for 50 years both and she didnt realise that was the max #idk anything about that science but i have the suspicion that 50 years in there might not be healthy #especially since shadow is the one who got shot in this universe and never got to heal it fully before sleeping #i gotta sleep probably im a tired little guy rn

I don't remember but erm #stars posting #anyways dont count on me committing to this au too hard since Im mostly eternal gales brained rn but I am rotating ideas in my head #shes always interested me deeply as what am I if not a sucker for women who are mostly silhouettes of a character #I was mostly just thinking abt other ppls aus where she is also looping and was thinking abt how fucked it be for her in general but also #how much more fucked it would be for her if it was Only her looping #because as far as she would know theres straight up nothing that can be done to fix this and shed be stuck in a hell of what shed be sure #is her own creation #and then I thought to myself. what if she then accidentally did a loop while trying to fix it #and then my brain also said but what if loop was also there #so I did some mental gymnastics to ignore the possible problems and decided to take an extra spin on it and just sorta add her to the main #party by having her have basically wished to be able to help them defeat the king to make things right and her getting dropped earlier #on in the adventure so I can fuck around with potential character dymamics more (cough cough siffrin)#and for the actual loops I think it'd be funny if she could remember just like loop but was fully convinced that she was looping alone #so itd be siffrin and her acting at eachother trying to hide their seperate breakdowns while meamwhile loop is just staring at her with a #whole heap of mixed emotions but mostly the confusion of who the fuck is this guy???????#and sif is just like yeah thats secret. shes a powerful craft user who's craft experiments backfired and fucked up her body. duh.#and loop just Knows that thats not true but they have no real way to bring it up properly without drawing too much suspicious #oh yeah and Im calling her secret for now. in my minds eye shes like constantly putting on different fronts in hopes that one of them will #stick but shes been able to get away with it by playing up her belief in change to a cartoonish degree #shes really trying to be strong and not raise suspicion since she does want mirabelle to be able to learn and grow from this just the same #as her own mirabelle before and just wants to be able to fix the broken wish by being there to defeat the king herself #which she had already convinced herself was the reason the wish broke since she was the one stuck remembering #I should reword it to that probably because saying shes the one looping isnt Wrong but asside from sif not remembering it still entirely #revolved around him she was just the one forced to deal with it without any real way of learning how to fix it #and while she never figured out the entirety of the sif stuff it was always him taking to her that reset the loop #so she has. complicated feelings on him. she doesn't want to be avoidant or distant or to dislike him! and as time goes on she does grow to #like him a lot! but its just. hard to look him in the eye sometimes.#and then theres the horrors of the actual main game starting and the slow but horrifying realization of how badly she fucked up

#so i live in an apartment block #and one (or some) of my neighbours have started smoking cannabis recently (or something that smells similar)#i say ''have started'' because i haven't noticed anything until a couple of weeks ago #sometimes i can smell tobacco in the staircase but it has never really spread to my apartment #but the pot? my hallway REEKS of it #(=inside my actual apartment!!!!!)#and look. i could not give less shits about what someone chooses to smoke in their freetime #but PLEASE don't subject me to it ffs🤢#i have a suspicion which neighbour it might be but i'm not 100% sure so i guess there's not much i can do about it #however. the smell is so strong that it would make sense it's from a nearby apartment #and considering my next-door neighbour had a couple of visits from the police last spring... 😐#i know i'm not the only one bothered by the smell judging by the notes some of my neigbhours have left on the noticeboard of the building #i think these notes (''heippalappu'') are somewhat useless though because 1) the neighbour to whom it's directed may never even see it #and 2) even if they did i doubt it would make them stop smoking indoors #because i don't think it's a case of them not realising the smell might affect others #it's more a case of just being a dick and not giving a fuck about other people #just now i googled ''what to do when my neighbour smokes pot'' lol #but i couldn't really find anything useful for this particular situation where i can't be sure from which apartment the smell comes from 😑#and i don't really feel like snooping around behind my neighbours' doors like a sniffer dog to figure out where's the source of the smell #i live on the 3rd floor and as i said my main suspect is my next-door neighbour #and someone in the heippalappu was also suspecting a 3rd floor resident (''you know who'' they had written)#but then someone else had written they think it comes from the 4th floor so 🤷‍♀️#unless it was the pot-smoker themselves bluffing 🤔#i did find a reddit thread (in finnish) in which some people are like ''it's just a smell. deal with it''#ah! so i'm supposed to just tolerate the smell of pot inside my apartment! even though it's fucking disgusting! okay thanks!!!!!!#AITA for being bothered by pot smell inside my apartment caused by my neighbour lol

something i was thinking about on stand yesterday.. danganronpa shsl lifeguard who tries to save a dying person they find, bonus points if they dont come clean about it at first because they think they actually killed that person with their efforts

#or if they do actually kill them which would be really tragic. this happens in chapter 4 of course #ok i actually put way too much thought into this. to put it into perspective i had shifts with 5 hours on stand saturdsy and sunday #i thought of it on saturday 20 mins in. so this concept has been in my brain for a while #anywayyy im thinking she had some pretty high profile eddie aikau type saves and got a little famous off that #AND is always offering to help people #so for the sake of writing another tragic athlete yuri ch4: i think the victim in her case is someone who is adamant about not wanting help #like a woman playing a sport typically seen as being manly (american ‌foot‌ball rug‌by wrestlin‌g etc etc)#im imagining shes from a family of pretty good (male) athletes and is constantly dealing with comparisons to portray her as weaker #she wont accept help or medical assistance because she thinks it makes her weak. which is a trait female characters should have more #so you get two really valid worldviews and its debatable whether the victim actually needed medical assistance/help or if it #just made things worse #anyway im imagining the ending of the previous chapter shows a black screen with #'unknown: hey hey are you okay?'#and ms life guard tries to give her situationship a slightly dignified resting place so we dont discover the body for a little while #not too long but a little while #actually i think the lifeguard killing the athlete with chest compressions would make a really compelling scenario #where the actual person with murderous intent was someone who poisoned or near-fatally hit the athlete #and they get to walk free (under extreme suspicion from other students) while the girl who got sooo close to saving her dies #lifeguard could be someone whos easily distracted but locks in while on duty to the point where shes like a different person #but slipping up and breaking the athletes rib (or whatever) was her one moment of panic #because she cared about the victim on a personal level #i neednto be sedated so i shut the fuck up. tomorrow is the first day of school bro #i DID say i had 10 hours to think about this
